Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Are people in other countries accessing medical info on Americans?

If you believe a company allows employees (or contractors) in other countries to access medical information on the American people, you may report that to a consumer advocacy organization. One of the leading advocacy groups is ProPublica.
You can report info anonymously.

Many states have passed laws making it illegal for people in other countries from accessing medical information on their residents. Depending on the state, you may be entitled to a portion of any settlement the company pays to the state.
