Well basically I was working a Retail Sales Associate, full timer. Went to open the store as usual. Manager call me to the office and told me the store was closing and all crew have 1 month to figure it out. This is bs. I feel sad and disappointed.

@naq there are a bunch of loopholes in the warn act, including if severance extends past 60 days, that counts toward notice.
They Closed Big Log California the day before Christmas. So anything is believable.
I am sorry you are going through this... How are they getting away with only giving 1 month notice now? By law, via the Warn Act, it's always been 2 months notice...seen many layoffs with this company through the years and they have always given two months notice.
