Anyone from past layoffs know how long it really takes for the actual severance to be sent?

Severance hit my bank this morning. Best to all of you impacted.
I just received notification of the severance payout. Good turnaround. Got the package on the 15th, and sent it signed on the 16th. I will receive the money around March 3rd. About 3 weeks.
It was nearly 30 days, Laid off 9-16-22; payment received 10-11-22. Nothing but payment and tax reductions. Federal taxes at 22%. Nothing for healthcare, 401k etc. Get your laptop (& any other company equipment) with your badge as soon as possible. If onepak didn’t send your boxes yet, reach out to HR.
Thinking if you don't know someone's story, you should keep your mouth shut.
If you can't go 40 days without a paycheck then you have bigger problems than being laid off.
Wow 40 days thank you for your response that's insane people have bills. Gives me a better idea what to plan for.
around 40 days and if you elect to be on cobra don't pay your bill until the last possible day.
You could always get a new job that has health insurance on day and saving $$$$
If on Cobra Dell HR immediately starts sending you bills.
