The Next CEO

Will the next CEO come from outside and be able to change the culture back to what it once was?

Nicely predicted. I believe other predictions on this site will come to fruit this year too.

So my prediction was right. After butchering HBT VK can now butcher the rest..

The next CEO selection will definitely be about caste. Caste is definitely an executive hiring practice.

Wait. What. Are Castes a thing in Honeywell? Like really. Is that a thing in this company’s hiring practices?

next CEO has to meet Diversity, equity and inclusive requirements

  • White female ?
  • Mixed white female?
  • Black Female?
  • Indian Female ?
  • Maybe Indian male from low cast?

who cares about talent or the upcoming war with China/Russia.

Mike Madsen better known as hatchet man. He knows how to run aerospace really good. They should put them in charge of Honeywell headquarters.

So if you have an 8 cylinder engine, he has proven that you can run it off one cylinder. With nice fancy seats and a good paint job.

You can work all the overtime you want by pushing the car down the street. While the management is sitting inside the car, figuring out how to increase the matrix.

What a bunch of clowns.

Are there overt indications DA is heading out? Haven't been keeping up...

Honeywell will relocate headquarters to India in the next iteration. New diversity initiative will focus specifically on members of under-represented castes.

VK already managed to butcher HBT couple years ago and now he is "helping" SPS, he will be... excellent CEO for sure.

Gotta give it to DA, he took Honeywell to the cleaners and is getting ready to run.
I wouldn't want to be the next CEO, there ain't much more left to milk.

Prior to Ford, Mullaly was at Boeing. Passed over for CEO, left for Ford.

VK is the next in line after DA steps down which will be pretty soon judging by DA’s diminishing public appearance. The team under corp will be restructured like it usually happens. TorstenP and gang will probably be the first in line to be shown the door back to Amazon or whats left of that place.

I see 3 possibilities here, in descending order of likelihood.
1 - VK, current President and COO, most likely traditional candidate. More of the same, obviously.
2 - Outsider, management consultant-type. See KD (HCE President) for example. More flash, no substance.
3 - Outsider, disruptor / paradigm shifter. Someone like an Alan Mulally at Ford.
