Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

They don't care at all

Another colleague of mine gave notice. I have not noticed that the management is concerned about it or that it cares in any way to stop the increasing departure of employees. Some say it isn't so but maybe it's just hard to accept that they don't care who and how many of us leave?

While the industry is in a tough spot overall, you do have to wonder if Allstate’s weak earnings of late are partially tied to the steady talent drain over the past several years.

They asked for this with how they handled the video game fiasco of 2020. They made an utter mockery of all employees.

I’ve never seen a company care less when they lose talent. My new company does exit interviews and asks what it will take to keep you. They have the first two levels of leadership meet with you as well to see what could have been done better. This isn’t a normal company you’re working for.

Auto Technical is losing adjusters to other insurance companies. They are in a bind right now, I don’t judge anyone for staying or leaving. Allstate made a mockery of their employees and now they are getting it in return. Everything Pune touches is messed up somehow. VA is a disaster, one department doesn’t have a clue what the other does even if they should have some knowledge. I’ve never seen such a large company be such a disaster

As a general policy, at least for HO exempt positions, Allstate does not make counter offers once notice has been given. This has been true for at least 10 years.
