I'd punt the CIO, but he probably bows down to his Husky Overlord so he is more likely to get promoted.

Agreed, Kam should be our next CFO, he has capital market experience. The kid only book keeping experience.

True. I am enjoying the fact our execs are uncomfortable right now. Enjoy the feeling boys. It’s a layoff announcement for you this time!!

So which Executives will Jon punt first?
New CEO always needs to clean house.

My money is on Jeff.. bye Jeff. Market will expect a new CFO at a minimum or lose confidence.

Maybe Husky Jon should bring back the sub captains and get the HRO going again haha. What a desperate cry for help that was…

Basically the way I see it Cenovus is on track to be a P50 company with little care for the employees and that much is clear with the latest round of bonuses. Everything is getting reduced. LTIs are a brutal joke because they don’t care if you stay or not. When they try and recruit talent at a P50 level and the inflexible work arrangements good luck. They’ll go over to Suncor.

Not sure about CNRL, but Suncor beat Cenovus THREE to ONE in Q4 profits for slightly lower BoE. So @1yuw+1linhUZG, I agree ... the Cenovus C-Suite is 'sad' !!!

Jon is sad right now. He knows the way to assess how much a company cares for its employees is by days required in office count.

Suncor - 3 days (total losers)
Cenovus - 4 days ( sad)
CNRL - 5 days (I love them. I want to be just like Murray Ed!!!)

Let’s fix them salaries next!

Word on the street is that Jon McKenzie was once a Loomis Truck Driver.

Follow the same path that husky did and crash as a take over that will actually be a take over this time. Should be fun to watch CNRL crush the failed mentality. Would be hilarious if MEG took over.

Now the CFO will be promoted to COO and the CIO to CFO 😂

Message to Jon:

Suncor produces synthetic crude ~$76 US / BBL
Cenovus produces dilbit ~$57 US / BBL

Grab a clue !!!

Same policies but worse for employees. Jon is more militant. I expect the requirement for 5 days in the office soon.
