How is the job search going for those of you who were cut recently? Is there a plethora of jobs in smaller companies that can't wait to hire people with our experience as some are claiming or is that just hogwash that people are telling themselves to make themselves feel better?

I'm not gonna look for any new job in at least 2-3 years. Time for vacation.

The government says there are no jobs.
We are at full employment.
There will be jobs for the foreseeable future
it has seemed to have dried up a bit...expectedly so. All the tech companies are laying off and in hiring freezes. You may need to look at startups for the time being and then switch, if you must, at a later date.
Last spring I was recieving messages from head-hunters about once or twice a week about potential jobs. Now, I am not getting anything.
calls and emails from recruiters has seemed to have gone down in the past few months. Not sure if that is an indicator or not
