Even if I am not laid off in the meantime and despite the fact that it is not easy to find a new job, I do not intend to stay here until the end of the year. I will try my best and I believe that I will succeed at landing a new job. What awaits those who stay here until the end of the year? I don't think it will get any better, unfortunately.

if the bonus is not 100%, I know a bunch of people that will be leaving. These are people that were not laid off because they are needed as they are in the 'prioritized product areas'. They can find jobs anywhere but won't stay with Dell if they're losing yearly income due to insufficient bonus. Salaries are low and bonus is not that great so if the bonus is less than optimal, doesn't make sense to stay. Lots of startups and smaller companies paying well.
Not everyone laid off F'd up.
You assume totally incorrect.
They layoff a bunch of people who f’d up and those who are left are being treated less than an old pair of shoes that were stepped in dog s**t as if we were complicit in all the bad decision making. Meanwhile the new crew comes in and barks a bunch of unrealistic demands.
The people who were laid off have it good. They don’t have to clean up their own mess and get a fat check for it and they can lie about all the “accomplishments” they did to their new prospective employers not knowing they were responsible for the swirling sh*t storm left in their wake.
Managers are being hit hard. This round continues throughout May, and then people left will leave as they are worn out.
they are banking on it
poor reviews
no or low bonus payouts
load you up with more work
hope for the attrition rate to inflate
More work less money.
The beatings will continue.Best of luck.
