Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Dark times ahead for ExxonMobil employees…

but which ones, ICs or managers? Hard to believe we can get rid of more ICs at BR after all we PIP’d and those that quit this sh!thole. Now we have managers and DHs with very few or no direct reports, even SLSs have very few direct reports. What is the case at BT and BMT? The hunger games have restarted at BR with managers and DHs backstabbing each other already. Looks like a lot are running scared and each one is trying to show that everyone else is worse than them using snide comments and second guessing each other. It’s getting interesting at BR. I’m going to enjoy watching this dumpster fire.

I don’t believe Baton Rouge can be worse than the sh!t hole Baytown is. Can’t speak for Beaumont but have heard about them as well.

It's been dark for a while. I retired to see the light. It's bright again. 🌞 If you can retire, please do, you'll be glad you did once the "FUNK" is off you. There's nothing left for older people in technical positions in the US.

Total mess. If you're not on the special list in India, ICs have no future.
