Facial piercings in fresh departments

So...I've noticed the policy on facial piercings in the clubs an walmarts has been updated to....keep it professional, but allowed to an extent. But the policy in fresh departments officially remains no facial piercings, and only one in each year.

I hate the double standards! Us in fresh departments also got the short end on the covid masks, meaning we still had to wear them when everyone else didn't.

But I also know that the enforcement on piercings varies per building. I just got an eye-brow piercing. I'm a long-term associate. I noticed pharmacy associates in nearby clubs with two nasal piercings. I really hope they chill on me.

So what is your club's enforcement on the policy like?

It is a health department rule. That is why it only applies to fresh.

What standard? One of our fresh managers has a nose ring and wears earbuds everyday. The bakery lead wears his earbuds everyday as well. There are no standards in any of our fresh departments. So sad in Utah.

Who cares about piercings? I'm 69, have no tattoos, and only one piercing in each ear. I don't care how many tongues, noses, eyebrows, belly buttons, or ear piercings someone has. Nor do I care about someone's tattoos. Not with the people I work with or make purchases from. It's ridiculous to make this a priority for fresh.

What do I care about? That the people I work or make purchases from don't stink. That the people I work with come to work without smelling like bo and that they actually work and not leave all the work to me.
