Well my ex coworker who actually worked on my team on my client with me who was a temp was let go in December
She is being rehired on another team under a different supervisor.
Why are they hiring temps if there are layoffs?
She starts on Monday.

Money wise aren’t they supposed to be doing cuts. Not adding people to payroll. I know temps are hired at a much lower rate but she is being paid more than I am. I’m 16 and she’s 18-19 per hour.
Temps are only allowed to work for 18 months per the contract, they are then allowed to be rehired under a new contract.
