Uber has found a way to get rid of employees without having to dole out severance. I would be perfectly okay with this if performance reviews were genuine, but we all know they're not. They will now use them to get rid of whomever they want, especially those of us with higher pay. This is monumentally screwed up.

Yes true totally uber is screwing employees for their advantage in the name of PIP after 3 yr or 5yr they using dirty tricks to get rid of employees , to save severance and not to publicly announce layoff’s so beware guys..
