Dont fall for the 'your the best employee' nonsense with chances at OT money. The managers are just hype machines paid to bleed you dry. The yearly layoffs now bring in the time of 'work all the OT you want' without prior approval. So the remaining employees get twice or triple the workload (because NPS is a joke) and get used up like a rag doll only to be dumped at the next layoff interval or given a 'forced retirement' ultimatum because they see you working too much, so then they strategically want cheaper alternatives (like NPS). People First? Yeah right, until they need to buyout smaller agencies and corner the market.

It's the same all across the company as I had never heard of what was going on in Maricopa until I saw the posts here, and yet it all sounds very, very familiar despite well over 1k miles in distance from each other. What's interesting is the sales tactics used by the managers on the employee's to butter you up, just to discard you later like a used tissue. I also agree that buddy buddy management shuffles itself around in order to stay on board while non-management employee's, regardless of hard work or loyalty, are always on the chopping block. Btw, it doesn’t matter if you are a direct hire (permanent employee) thats worked at FA for years or temp agency employee, you will still be laid off without care. It's the blatant hypocrisy of it all... as the whole mantra of caring for its employees plays like an infomercial and yet they do the exact opposite (unless you are a part of the managers' good ol' boy/girl network).
These posts always read like the Maricopa Direct Division maybe it is all the same. The Escrow Officers have all my respect because they do almost all of the heavy lifting deal with tremendous stress and have the most loyalty. They should be getting the most benefits including stock options and return loyalty from First American. Maybe they should have say in the top heavy management to get laid off. Management has been very poor for a long time and the same concerning sales. Real go-getters waiting to see how they can be shuffled around by their friends to collect a paycheck.
