Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

This must hurt the haters

I am sure this hurts the haters and AMD employees over here at the layoff.

Intel is back. The dragon is awake. Confidence four square! The competition quakes.

Yes, just like 10nm shipped in 2017. https://hothardware.com/news/intel-10nm-cannon-lake-cpus-shipping-this-year-ice-lake-taped-out

OP, well done... presented in true Intel form. Claiming victory at the 10k point of a marathon and delivering it with both arrogance and bravado.

Long time Inteler here. OP is either delusional or inexperienced. There is SO much between this test announcement, HVM, and market acceptance - areas which we have constantly underperformed for 10+ years. Come on, man.

If Intel isn’t using some of that cash on hand to contract-out a hit on TSMC’s leading node fabs, priorities need to be examined.

Pull out all the stops, end justifies the means. Lie, cheat, steal, and ki-l. Just win baby win.

If that really happens, releasing 18A high volume production in 2024, consider me impressed.

OP, Manufacturing ready but no revenue product is shipping. I hate to burst your bubble but there is a lot that has to happen yet before this is transferred to the fabs and brought up to HVM level. Intel isn't exactly great at execution lately so plenty of opportunity for this to get pushed out just like everything else. What are the current yields?
