It’s that special time of year where managers look to displace blame and tell you to prepare for the worse.

What happened to you is no accident or coincidence, it was deliberate. The changing of your status from retired to terminated requires several other steps within the HR system (this status is under a separate tab which also contains the "do not hire" status. Yes, L3Harris has an internal "black list"). You are not alone, you just caught it early and well before most people figure it out.
I recently retired from this company. I am contractually entitled to early retirement benefits including health insurance until I am eligible for medicare. Two weeks after retiring, my health coverage was terminated. After a week on the phone, (over 20 calls) I was able to get it straightened out without having to retain an attorney. A preliminary investigation showed someone within the company had changed my status from retired to terminated. This was a malicious act and indicative of the kind of sc-m that works there. I am considering filing criminal charges, but the company has put their wagons in a circle. Figures.
