While Cisco is hopeful, even enthusiastic, about nosism becoming commonplace, I find myself experiencing profound doubts about its benefits. More precisely, the devastating ramifications of widespread nosism make me wonder if it isn’t simply the case that Cisco had promised us liberty, equality, and fraternity. Instead, it gave us antinomianism, Leninism, and sesquipedalianism. I suppose we should have seen that coming, especially since to believe that Cisco’s crimes are victimless is to deceive ourselves. I’m not normally one to criticize, but if we briefly prescind from the main point of this letter we can focus on how some of Cisco’s arguments are so convoluted that they require a dictionary, a decoder ring, and a team of scholars to decipher. And let me tell you, Cisco unequivocally embarrassed itself by ceremoniously announcing that the existence and perpetuation of libertinism is its own moral justification. Cisco is now in full retreat, shifting from clear prose to mumbled nonsense. I warrant it doesn’t want anyone to know that after encountering daily examples of how mingy it can be, most of us are no longer surprised by any of Cisco’s actions, no matter how slaphappy they are and no matter how likely they are to relegate persons to the status of things.
