New job title/comparable pay

So Optum is saying we will be given a new job title that will fit what we're currently doing with a grade level pay that meets a salary based on comparable jobs & comparable pay, well I'm making about $4.00-$5.00 an hour under that, and I don't think they're going to raise my pay. Some people have been here many many years, making only $4-$5 more than me. It's crazy.

I’m trying to understand and we haven’t received any clarification from HR. With the “transition letters” will we be notified of any increase or decrease in salary/bonus? Merits were just sent out. It sounds like the new job title is to align current CHC roles with those in Optum. We are just cattle being led into the sl------r house. We’ve been lied to for far to long now.

I have a friend that I went to college with who is at Optum with the same job title as me. After a little prodding, he volunteered his salary when I said we were supposed to receive transition letters with our salary early March. He makes 15k more than me, but with a lower potential % bonus. Granted, CHC always found a way to sc--w me on my AIP so I never really saw the full amount anyways.

Highly doubtful they will just voluntarily offer us more to be in alignment with the market. Oh and he said Optum is a constant sh!t show where leadership is always contradicting themselves and always doing layoffs. Sounds like I have a lot to look forward to... If I didn't have kids and a mortgage I'd just quit
