DEI recruiting is the new buzzword according to our white Talent Consultant. “It’s very important to have diversity in the workplace.” Thank you Captain Obvious, your words are profound 🧐 . USB’s fake wokeness is evident. Put some black employees into “diversity” roles and they think they’ve done their part in contributing to society. We have a group of white leadership, with a sprinkling of minority managers, trying sell DEI as if it is a new phenomenon. Have their heads been buried in the sand for the last five years? Sad.

It's important to know. Human Resources is paid by the company they work for. They represent protection for the company only. That is their job.

HR is completely worthless. They hide behind workday and and shared email box, can never get ahold of anyone that really knows whats going on, been outsourced to the lowest bidder, sad. Do not trust them for employee issues, dont bother.

Human Resources? What Human Resources exactly? From where I’m standing it barely exists anymore. Work Day is the new Human Resources and you’re expected to figure most things out on your own.

On the few instances I’ve needed a “real person” I’ve had “tickets opened” and dealt with offshore personnel that I could barely communicate with and hours wasted trying to solve issues.

HR as it used to be is no more.

HR is horrible. How can they help an employee if managers are wanting them gone;

Humans are PEOPLE and NOT resources. Until the mindset of people as chess pieces is replaced with human-centered workplaces, corporations will continue to suck employees dry and sp-t them out. McKinsey consultants are hired to run the algorithms and figure out which jobs can be cut. They know they can hire 2 kids for the price of one experienced worker and they simply do not care. As long as there are people willing to take on the work left by those who are severed, this will continue. Management is working toward automating every job, but they don't understand people care but computers don't. They may be more accurate, but people are sick of the impersonal way that all transactions have become. Everything goes in cycles. The personal touch will be the next new trend in banking, but USB has always been two steps behind. Some smaller bank is going to bring back real human services in a modern way, and customers are going to be willing to pay for it. So glad to be out of there...

USB HR and recruiters are worthless, their recruiters frequently contact me about opportunities, ask for my resume (I worked at usbank for 18 years) then I never hear a thing from them and it's the same job I have now at my new employer they sold our division to? place stinks since Richard Davis left and that id--t Cecere took over

My encounters with our region’s “Talent Consultant” has been a joke. People say HR is there to protect the company. Not this dingbat. She’s here to fly under the radar and collect a paycheck. My encounters with employee relations at USB has been good. They just want to get through their case load and call it a day.

Do not trust HR and don’t take the TTUS. Period.

HR departments always work for the company not the employees. This is true in any company and industry.

Agree with the previous comment. Don’t trust the HR department or the “anonymous” TTUS/Your Voice Matters surveys.

Why would you use Human Resources? You know they work for the bank, not for the employee?their job is to protect the bank, not you. Anything you say to them that can help the bank, they will use
