I find all this news of layoffs this week so incredibly hard to believe. So many other replies of this being such a huge unsubstantiated rumor just can’t be wrong. For weeks now, post after post of this being such an impossibility wrapped up with “I know better you mustn’t work here” “I’m in the know and its not happening, you mustn’t work here”…and now its all true after all!?!?!? That’s just crazy talk. I just can’t wait to hear all the manager naysayers chiming in with their rhetoric of how the layoff’s were needed to necessitate Jane’s 2 million $ increase in salary in order to break that glass ceiling she just had to shatter.

We have yet another round of layoffs coming beyond the March time frame. All those kool aid drinking naysayers who would slam all others for saying such are all quite now.
All of them frantically searching their emails to make sure they don’t have an unexpected HR meeting invite, sweat dripping down their face. I just don’t see a whole lot of comments from them anymore. Where’d they go? What happened to them? It seems like they realize that their condescending comments were wrong.
Seriously. Managers or wannabe managers aggressively slamming people who said a layoff was coming, now…crickets. Not a word, not a peep. All of a sudden all the smart @ss remarks seemed to have stopped coming from them.
Where are all the naysayers? Seems like they are awful quite. Probably trolling their email inbox looking for any hint of a layoff for themselves.
Seriously, Jane is a genius. Getting a HUGE raise in pay BEFORE laying off people. No one is going to look out for you better than you. She’s the epitome of this. I mean placing a very well insulated protective hedge around herself so that she not only does NOT take a hit but came out on top. Pure genius to sell it as “breaking that glass ceiling”. Its a win for everyone….oh wait….its just a win for her. Never mind.
You might be able to track someone posting from a Citi site but I doubt that most posters are that d-mb.
