Some of you may no longer have a job tomorrow and some of you may not like your job going forward.. My advice is leave this company as soon as you can cause its not going to get any better and the lies will only get worse.

@ccib. You are absolutely correct. WARN notice does not necessarily require store closure.
To the person that said a WARN notice requires a store closure; this is false. WARN notices are triggered when a certain percentage of the total site employees are let go.
For instance, look at the below WARN notice for Google in NY:
https://dol.ny.gov/system/files/documents/2023/01/warn-google-nyc-2022-0087-1-25-2023.pdf
WARN notice are still a good tool for a general heads up.
One announcement I hope they make is to cancel NCR support in the stores. Reason being is that the level of support has dropped off in a big way and most of the former M Tech people were let go that used to support the stores. NCR has several accounts and does not care about Macys. The 2 companies do not mesh at all. NCR cares about their numbers much more than customer service. I understand the service agreement has one year left. Time to go back to internal servicing please Macys make it happen.
Yawn... nothing happened.
It would require a store closing for a WARN act...if just a few people are layed off per store that won't require it.
Yep I got the same feeling ⬇️
Maybe it’s nothing. But I can’t shake the feeling that something is coming. It seems like everything is pretty delayed lately. But my Store Manager has been acting really weird this week. I don’t know what to make of it.
Pretty sure you get paid more working at Walmart, Macys should be ashamed of themselves.
Still here ....unfortunately
Here's a tip I wish someone told me years ago: if you live in a WARN state like NY, companies have to post their intention to let go of people - ahead of time. You just have to check your states Department of Labor site. For instance, here's NY's DOL site that show's the current 2023 WARN notices: https://dol.ny.gov/warn-notices
Nordstrom leaving Canada not that big a deal, and should not be a surprise: https://retailwire.com/discussion/why-did-nordstrom-fail-in-canada/
Maybe the announcement wasn't cascaded to store level on Friday
Nordstrom is leaving canada which is pretty big deal
It’s got to be coming. Neiman Marcus just announced restructuring and layoffs, Nordstrom did as well…
Apocalypse didn’t happen huh? 😂
Something about PT going to 8hrs only and FT only getting 28-32 hrs only no OT…

Postponed due to Employee Appreciation Day?
Is it rescheduled? This is awful! Keeping us all wondering if we have a job or not. Why did nothing happen today?
Nothing happened.
Was the call postponed today? I did not get an email with reorganization announcement? Did anyone else in management reading this get one?
What happen at the conference call? What is it postpone?
This is a rumors site. No one knows anything.
Any update to this??
Current store manager and no announcement today….
Curious to hear what this announcement is. Today is Employee Appreciation Day. Doesn’t seem like too many people out there feel appreciated LOL
