Having looked to see the second sticker with a huge mark-up. Most people looked shocked and upset. Before getting back in their vechicles several people turned towards the Ford Salespeople looking at them from inside and flipped them off. Ford Motor Company is lossing a lot of loyal people who have only bought Ford. After seeing the huge mark-up on the second sicker. These people are never coming back to any Ford Dealer lots.

I'll take "this never happened" for $100
What's even more remarkable is how you witnessed all this when the majority of metro dealers are closed on Saturdays. You must have put a ton of miles on your vehicle trying to find all the open ones.
“ First, dealerships make peanuts in the sale of new cars. ”
Gee it’s almost like they provide zero value to the customer
HAHA, to the author, I have sold three cars this week. Most of my customers are loyal, and we have never marked up our vehicles.
But I believe they mentioned they saw an individual(maybe you) applying a 2nd sticker to our vehicles on the lot. If a second sticker did exist.
First, dealerships make peanuts in the sale of new cars. The ones that sell new cars do so for the cache that comes from being attached to an OEM.
Dealerships make money on markups, add-ons (insurance, warranties, etc) and financing kickbacks. I do not blame dealerships at all for marking up vehicles in a seller's market. Take an ECON 101 course, it's supply and demand.
I also chuckle when I hear companies like Ford talk about getting rid of dealerships. Can you imagine having you deal directly with Ford on customer service issues? Also, Ford considers a vehicle sold the second it is shipped off the plant lot. they stick their dealerships with models no one wants. What happens when sales plummet and Ford can't "sell" the vehicles?
They talk a big game but they play the euchre game of "stick the dealer" and expect dealerships to eat all kinds of losses. As a result, dealerships aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
Man you were busy!! Pulling into ford dealers all around the city.(pun intended)
@xez They charge luxury prices, but they do not make luxury vehicles.
"I'll take Things that didn't happen for $500, Alex."
That must be why Ford sold zero vehicles in February.
Now that is an amazing story. Lucky you that you witnessed several people, at several dealerships, flipping off several sales people all in one day. I think you might be making that up, but go ahead and flame me anyway. Have a happy day!
Flipping the salesperson off in the lot is a blessing. What do you do when you actually buy an overpriced vehicle prone to defects, recalls, misstated range, and a fire hazard to park in your garage. Just one finger seems like just not enough.
Ford used to be a economical car maker. Now ford is a luxury car maker.
