Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel Kicks Jan 31st CPM volunteers in the bu-t--twice!

CPM mentions a retirement gift(cash) for volunteer retirements--Dec 31st CPM volunteers got it--Jan 31st volunteers will not due to the pause in recognition awards. Jan 31st CPM volunteers worked in 2022 to qualify for the earned incentive award. Intel says Nope--only 2022 workers on role Feb 1st get the award--coincidence or slap in the face? April CPM volunteers will get the incentive award. Jan 31st CPM volunteers wacked twice by Intel!

I am 'not credible post by op' poster. Anyone with concern about this (current or former employee) should call the 800 number, HR chat, or open a ticket to ensure accurate information for them rather than rely upon what is posted here.

According to the policy posted, it's not just for volunteers, it also applies to retirees that were involuntarily placed in CPM on or after Jan 31.

I don't know who posted that it's "Not credible post by OP." They are wrong. I'm retirement eligible and in the involuntary category. No retirement party and no retirement gift, just "here's your severance, now GTFO".

Not credible post by OP. Not true per 800 number. I just confirmed. Plus retirement is separate from CPM. Volunteer CPM is an individual choice by the employee, not something thrust upon someone by Intel. Several things incorrect in the post.
