With all the Cisco people hired in the last couple of years, we are going thru the same mess they had. We have no leadership here. Our SVP is a Cisco and Z retread. He has no clue about security but talks a good game. He is not credible, arrogant and only focused on himself. Our SED in Commercial is only focused on her career and who she can use to get to the top. We have all these support issues and she tells us to own it while she focused on her next career move. She is not very experienced as a manager so no clue on how she got to where she is. We need better sales and engineering leadership. We are losing ground quickly. We are quickly becoming Cisco 2.0.

If you are at Cisco 2.0 then you are doing well. Cisco is now at 3.0 and in even more of a mess and spiralling the drain.
Fact is firewalls are legacy and we haven’t had success with anything new. Nothing can replace hardware revenue.
It is too late to change the trajectory here. What was once a great culture is now gone.
