Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Everything is broken

Current management continues in same downward direction. No sense of urgency from day one, arrogantly spew my way or highway, operate on fad of the month vs what the company needs and what the workers tell them, and now in desperation mode. Everything broken. Just look around, they are trying to put everything they broke back together. Another 2 to 5 years wasted just to get back to where we were 8 years ago.

Well said, @3nld+1lKwdZdm.

Directors and VPs are too important to do that sort of stuff. They know everything already and everyone needs to do what they say. Now go back to DEI training!

it would be a good start to shed the bulk of payroll but unfortunately this place have reached point of no return

If all directors and above were canned tomorrow, we wouldn’t notice a difference. And might do better financially.

Someone should ask all Directors and VPs (of any title) "when was the last time you actually USED a Teradata system for any meaningful analysis or work?"

I'd be shocked if any of them can get beyond spelling Teradata, much less using it.
