Thread regarding IBM layoffs

I hear that IBM outsourced all the downvoting in this forum

The cost of having someone in India monitor this forum and tidal-wave downvotes into it is about 20% of what it costs to have a North American HR person do it.

Plus, a lot of the North American HR people just got layed off, so that work had to go somewhere else.

So I think all the down-voting of anything not IBM-positive here is coming from our colleagues in India now, working from their 3-ring binders to tell them what to downvote.

It's so blatantly obvious. You don't see the downvoting pattern on any other company page on this site. Not even Red Hat. You truly are petty and pathetic IBM. The fact that this site is such a priority proves IBMs demise is eminent. I predict they right size themselves into an acquisition target and are bought to be buried. That will be poetic justice and a day for celebration.

I guess that's what passes for a "Social Media" focus at IBM. Pathetically down voting hundreds of times. It beats actually building content that people want to see.

It must be clear even to IBM that it no longer works. The hyper down voting is now such a part of the background scenery that it doesn't have an impact. Just like all of IBM's other social media drives.

Working in NA I have never had anyone in HR assigned to me from NA.
The latest was out of the Philippines.

They tried using their own AI.....But WatsonX just wasn't up to the job. I won't be up to the job of being your HR chatbot friend either. But that's something for the future.
