I am cognizant of certain teams where few projects or duties are allotted to particular personnel, particularly in digital or product. This has created a sense of unease among a number of individuals. Recently, the atmosphere in these teams has been markedly strange and it has caused apprehension in the workplace and it appears to be a result of the transformation in leadership structures.

I suspect incremental or mass layoffs will follow once we have all helped the company create AI tools to replace our jobs. Where the AI job isn’t good enough, we will just tell ourselves that it is and celebrate it as a success. Will AI replace leadership roles?

No, no signs this will happen. Design has delivered many new things to customers and product engineering so far this year. Design has also led several hackathons projects to define AI at TR which is a nice change. Charlie seamed pretty excited for how things were going and said we looked really good in the recent quarter business review with executives. Also heard Steve say he does not see layoffs this year. I feel Design is in a good spot.
