Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Curious, SPS outsourcing jobs?

After giving years of my life to this company, I was rif’d from SPS a few months back. Out of curiosity (and maybe being a bit pi*#@d off), wondering how many still working US employees are now working more closely with teams in other countries, maybe even training them? Or maybe are already aware that those roles will soon be outsourced to countries whose employees require lower pay? This topic seems to come up on here every once in a while, but I’m curious if anyone has more details on the current situation? Of course there is no good reason for me unjustly losing my job, other than the execs needing their bonus / more money; but my analytical mind wants a logical answer as to why this happened lol

A couple of my colleagues in NA had their same positions advertised in Mexico and China a week after they were riffed in November.

There’s a constant push to use Mexico resources wherever we can. If they can get rid of a U.S. resource they’ll do it n a heartbeat.
