I am really embarrassed with these fires burning everywhere to work for a company that pollutes so much and makes up fairy tales about carbon capture.

So you want bonus points for not actually starting the fires and evacuating people the company put there??? I love it when thin skinned Cenovus leaders come on here and try to defend the company. Pure comedy.
To the OP, you should resign tomorrow! Our operations didn’t start any of the fires, but we sure did our part to safely shut down operations and get our people to safety! If you are so embarrassed to work for this great company, please do us all a favour and resign!
Problem with oil sands is not the emissions, it is the sheer arrogance of the executives who cash in $30M a year, say all the right words that comms write for them, and stay tone deaf to the real world. They make it so easy to attack them. They think they can fool everyone all the time because they’re sooooo arrogant. Spin doctor is right!
