15% will not happen, that would be over 13,000 employees, bigger than the VSP. More like 1%, but even then it would be more sizable than recent ones. My prediction is that most of these will be coming from VGS with smatterings in other units. Time will tell.

Who knows what to think anymore? My work group is OP&OO and with the recent announcement of Krista's departure, it's hard to think there would be hard a fast changes for this org right now. But, who knows? The name of the game is "can I dodge the next RIF?" This used to feel like a every other year game, then became a yearly game only to become 2x per year, now it feels quarterly. This is hard.

The bloodbath is happening now with the stock price and it will be hard to imagine that Hans and Tony will not be on their way out the door by the end of summer. Hans did what he was supposed to by joining together both wireless and wireline, but he screwed up by undermining the Network, marketing, and culture. No way Hans can survive this, especially when this gig was his chance to resurrect his integrity and respect. Not this time!

Time for the weekly RIF post already? Such a tired trope.
