VCE is in danger, from my sources say it's on the works. it's going to be scary.
So dell are going to sell the while converged systems Division ? Doubtful
it's going to be scary with VCE, Franklin is trouble for sure
I heard it's going to happen at the end of the year
@4aew+1mHZAN0m Maybe leave the grey matter chat aside if you're going to make basic grammatical errors.
@4aew+1mHZAN0m Dell isn’t enterprise and don’t have grey matter to market it. Best sticking with there PC mined departmental stuff LOL!
VCE is dead. They only sell VBLOCK and VxBlock to customers stuck in 2008.
VxRail is for SMB and smaller environments.
@4ybt+1mHZAN0m VxRail can’t scale to MIPS of VxBlock nor ever reach storage capacity or storage performance. VxRail never never 5 nines to boot. It’s apples& oranges.
This is the world's d-mbest comment. VCE hasn't been a "thing" for 5 years, when the "E" part went away, and Dell went all-in on VxRail
BS!
@1apf+1mHZAN0m Big Mike will be happy when that deal comes through
Meh. The partnership with VMware sucks anyway. They have not adapted well to new trends and their SW is bloaty as heck. They gouge customers with their licenses so no big loss. Dell is doing better with its Azure relationaship anyway.
VCE was niche product that never was huge seller. Before I left company Dell was trying to release CI type VxBlock using Dell servers vs Cisco UCS servers. I don’t think it ever got off ground. BTW Franklin mfg other products than VCE.
What a fu----g pathetic post. 'Order goes through or not' really? Your source is your pu--y or what?
