Thread regarding Adidas layoffs

Cash is King Share Price Over Everything Else

Sell Yeezy inventory to close the financial gap of meritocracy has caused.

BLM don’t matter, minority employees don’t matter.

Money matters.

Period.

No longer does “sport have the power to change lives”.

It’s profit over people.

Money moves everything around you, $$$ Bill.

Let’s get this straight; adidas doesn’t care.

It’s that simple. Old boy, new boy, hiring the wrong leaders , shuffling mid level managers and hiding internal brutal atmospheres, it’s not Ye , it’s not Pharrell or Sean. It’s adidas.

It’s money over people I agree.
I’m not woke and I am looking AND interviewing elsewhere.
Thank you.

It’s interesting how the company phrases “donate a significant amount “ to charity.
The brand knows how much the remaining inventory is worth and knows or can guess the sell through on product. Why can’t the brand predict the donation amount and already have earmarked the charities?

I don’t agree with the above statement of the original post being “woke”. Ask around campus, there is zero initiatives being supported outside what 90 second window currently being told on our brand stories. I don’t drink the kool-aid and have my own independent ability to think for myself.

Why can’t charities and $$$$ amounts have more clarification and be identified ?

Lol could you explain how “meritocracy” caused the financial gap? Gap is caused by ppl who thinks this way, that business doesn’t need profits, especially in times like these…

Is called a corporation so of course profits are important, companies need money to operate and pay so you can complain in forums like this…..if you don’t like it leave and let someone less entitled and without a woke culture to have your spot
