Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Glassdoor

Do not forget… Senior Management, HR, and Campus recruits all use Glassdoor as a means to measure ExxonMobil.

It takes 3min to “assess” the company… why not give an inexperienced college grad a heads-up about what they’re getting into?

Also....why bother with an expensive WAEM survey when they can just go to glassdoor for a more honest (and anomymous) opinion. Of course, like this forum, there will be ppl pretending to be EM employees, but no different than the outlier sample points within anyways.

Save us the pain on yet another post survey review meeting....telling how change is from the bottom up...........give me a break.

@OP Companies routinely game the review system on Glassdoor and Indeed (same company).

Put up a review with thoughtful criticism of a company and you can expect it to be drowned out by a bunch of false positive reviews that are obviously fake and posted by people who use English as a second language.

I still think people should get on there and air their employers dirty laundry as a public service though.

It’s creeped up over the past few months. If you have an opinion it should be different, make sure you post a review!

According to Glassdoor:

CEO approval rate:

  • Shell 90%
  • Chevron 90%
  • Exxon 30%

If this data doesn't tell prospective candidates what company to join then such candidate is r3tard3d and deserves tp join EM and get PIPEd in his/her first year.
