@2jde - Must agree on JK in Ops Risk. I don't have a lot of visibility into RCSA, but I know of the past failures you speak of.
Response to several posts. Hiring in India is ramping up for BCM teams. Most US teams are underperforming and some BG-EF have high functioning India team but problem is turnover due to expectations of them working 16-18 hour days on eastern time when they were told, generally, 1PM to 10PM on average. RCSA is unstable but that is because, as usual, there is NO change management. Rework is constant, exceptions to processes granted, and too many overly complex, redundant processes. TOH is not the problem necessarily, but the execution is led by two key people who have failed repeatedly in the past -GM program manager and JK in Op risk. Cannot uplift since reexecution is the uplift of Phase 1. full steam ahead. F-d feedback is that this is not sustainable due to too many changes and rework. Many many bad decisions on execution, methodology is fine, too many cooks in kitchen, pwc needs to go.
BS about people in the US not applying for positions. I applied for over a dozen and the recruiters never contacted me. They are intentionally making it look like Americans don’t want to apply but we know better. When jobs are posted to job boards there can be hundreds of applicants. They want 30% in India and even though they’re trying to make it look otherwise.
From what I have been told, there are not many people who apply for the positions in the US. I know of 3 positions in my department alone where there were no applicants.

What do you mean by uplifted?
Last I heard, 6 out of our 9 reg issues were directly connected to RCSA. If CS pauses this, even as it IS a disaster, he won’t have a job. The intensity on RCSA by him seems to be a direct reflection of him keeping that cushy job of his.
Latest is that RCSA needs to be paused and uplifted
We are in the business of lending $ but dont provide job opportunities for our customer base to pay us back with our offshore strategy. Think about it
RCSA? They can have it. That program is set up to fail.
I agree seeing those reports about kids today, reported everywhere in Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal.
But we are firing 40 - 60 year old workers. People with decades of experiences are without jobs. People with the qualifications are forced out.
These stories are made to justify outsourcing and H1B visa.
I get the general concern, but to be fair, American kids aren't exactly crushing the STEM courses. Our schools and kids are more focussed on gender studies or getting social justice degrees.
Moving Jobs to India > RTO . I think the C suite likes employees following the RTO shiny object while the rug gets pulled from under us with off-shoring.
There are only 1300 or so stateside jobs posted and it's a good bet not all of those will be filled.
You are racist the second you say American First. Enjoy the outcome folks.
If you're leading a company that ships jobs overseas you should be flogged. It's un-American and I don't care how much more expensive things would be if we didn't do that.
Everyone that acts like they support our WFIP colleagues is faking.
Now, if they want to come stateside and spend the money they earn here and support the US economy, that's a different story. But GTFOH with this WFIP strategy nonsense
I had someone trying to use my credit and had to contact the fraud department. Guess what? Spoke with two women from the Philippines. One I was never able to get her name understood. All this to reward the CEO and the shareowners. This logic and direct will cost the nation at some point when we're all on government assistance and owing the banks for everything.
It is not just in corporations, it is also at the state government level.
In government, we hire 'American' consulting companies that have majority of outsourcing and H1B visa workers. These third party companies always win bids because they are cheaper, and this is legal by law.
But we're better together and things!!!!
Love dealing with these people in India. They speak zero English. As a customer I will be moving all my money to an American bank. I no longer consider Wells Fargo as american
Yeah this has been a thing.. strategy is spreading quickly..
Based off my own work experience dealing with offshore personnel, the first time I have to deal with a service rep from India on a banking issue/question will be my last day dealing with that bank. Too much private information is involved for me to be ok with that.
While politicians have everyone up in arms over if we have a black or white security guard, the whole fking has been outsourced. Even state side 50% of my co workers are Indian or Pakistan. This place is a dead end for all of us.
A lot cheaper to pay someone to nag people via email with a daily spreadsheet when they live in India.
This has been happening for months, in both Control and IRM.
