To him, that means taking responsibility and suffering the consequences. Of course, there's nothing like any impact on his salary or bonus, and the only people really facing consequences are the workers who are either laid off directly or who are laid off by being forced to move across the country.

Indeed. Where is the "accountability" that executives love to talk about when it involves those beneath them in the hierarchy? And the best part is that he says essentially: "I failed to realize how d-mb the market is." Yeah John, that's it you failed to realize how far ahead of the pack you were. Why couldn't they see what you saw? Maybe you respected them too much. Yeah that's it. 🤣
