Does your coaches harass you till you wanna quit? I guess that's the legal way of doing it, the GM in another Sam's Harassed a few long term employee's and they've had enough. They are calling HR on Monday.

Yes! It's ridiculous! Then when you mention something to them concerning your job, they make excuses, and treat you like you're below them as a person. Oh, I'm sorry I need your cooperation in this matter. I'm sorry it interferes with you being able to chase your male employees around! But as a coach, IT IS YOUR JOB to help your employees when they need something! I'm sorry I'm not Speedy Gonzalez...but do you want my area to look neat, or do you want it to look sloppy?? Give them a management position, and they think they can speak to you any type of way about MY job, while they aren't doing THEIRS!
HR and/or ethics will do nothing! They will do practically anything to rid of long term associates. Period!
The more you do. The more they add on. Set the bar low and that's all they expect.
22 year associate here. They coached me out of a job. Making up bull sh-t reasons. I absolutely HATED that job but, I wasn’t going to quit. Only because you can’t collect unemployment if you do. It’s going to be a great summer! DONE being a Sams Club slave!
yes , I left after 20 plus years do to harassment. I was told I was not going fast enough. Yet there were other associates asking me why I was running to get done. I was told I had to get 100 signs done in only an hour. That included printing, separating, assuring proper sign holder color , assuring proper size , making sure all sign backers were correct and hanging sign in clothing which includes first locating the clothes to match the sign and reprinting the signs because most clothing signs are not standard and all their information needs hand keyed in order to print the correct sign. Oh and I was also morning fork driver having to do drops and reracks while doing signs. Gotta get done in an hour because thats all it should take I was told over the radio. When I defended myself by pointing out that I was already running and that others were wondering why I was running all I got back was that it had to be done in an hour. I put in my two weeks the next day. I have an uncertain future but there is one thing for certain , I do not have to clock in there anymore !!!!!
As always they put more on the long term associates and the expectations are not the same for everyone. It’s ridiculous.
