When will our new CEO do the same? Im sure the peers will follow SU’s lead, given pressure from the market.

These companies layoff 1500 and then hire back 1300 contractors to do the work. It’s all BS for shareholders to think they are cutting back. They hire their friends of course. Most corrupt and nepotistic industry I’ve ever seen. Someone has to do the work. Do you think managers actually do anything? Yeah that’s right. They are completely useless
Hopefully it happens
It’s being discussed at the Exec table.
Jon would take the opportunity to wipe out the rest of the CVE employees to finalize the reverse take over. Thanks Alex you tu-d.

I hate Suncor for being so disrespectful to people they hired. They make $20B profit annually. Yet they consider their people as “disposable material “. On contrary CNRL managed to keep people, avoid major layoffs and their stock performance is great.
Layoffs at $70WTI.
Are we unethical as an industry ?!?!
Haven’t you guys figured it out yet? Here’s how it works: new CEO comes in at CVE and cuts 1500 jobs, everyone goes to Suncor. CVE CEO then hires his friends. New CEO comes in at Suncor and cuts 1500 jobs. Everyone goes to CVE. New CEO then hires his friends. And basically it’s one big circle and us lemmings keep riding the wave.
MD should be the first one to leave
Absolutely going to happen here too. In IT we still wonder if JH/MD feel they cleansed out enough of the LCVE and those that question anything. I’m sure they are just waiting for JM to say do it.
