Seems like may be the pattern across all layoffs. As soon they have someone trained in IDC by US folks we are on the next RIF list.

Should anyone be surprised? Of course Oracle beefs up its IDC and lays off American citizens. Just like it does with bringing in the Indian H1Bs by the truckload while dumping American citizens. Oracle is a haven for Indians, it's obvious to anyone.
They will come in October, just like last year.
Hearing no layoffs this year
Layoffs always start in the US. Easier to remove people. If your team has been removed in the US, start looking. Everywhere else has to go country by country based on local country laws. Consider it a gift of time if you’re based in EMEA.
