New rounds of layoff

Did anyone get affected by new rounds of layoffs? CCG was supposed to notify employee by 05/30.

Intel’s problem is no longer the x86 competition from AMD. It is rather the disruption from the Data Center move to the combination of ARM (for computing tasks) and graphics (for AÍ inference). What is going on with AMD stock is irrelevant to Intel’s fortunes.

Why no one commenting on AMd dropped 5% today? Intel will be fine even with noises like here.

CCG employees were supposed to be notified by end of June, not end of May.
Still a while to go

I think you are very wrong, 4 or 5 days ago, CFO announced that we will make 1 or 2 B more than planned.

No. Direct from a chief of staff… they let the date pass because earnings will be worse than expected with poor outlook. So they are going back and increasing the numbers (do it all at once).
