Think layoffs will happen Thursday, or do you think this is all talk or they'll get "pushed" out again?

Once a company is acquired, isn't there a grace period for layoffs for tax purposes?
Business Update- Attendance Required - wonder what this meeting will be?
Definitely on. Some have been notified their position is going away but have option for demotion or severance. Others will get no notice or options and be let go.
I have a meeting on my calendar to give my decision to stay and take a demotion or take a package. You guys have fun. I’ll see my way out!!
Who typically notifies the employee when they are laid off? Is it their immediate supervisor or a Optum team member?

Info in these threads seem to be on target. Last week there were also layoffs; Optum tech US ONLY. Could be very likely 3 days from now on the Change side. Happy 4/20 day!
