Does anyone have frequent issues with their desktop monitor frequently freezing up?

this person works at a technology company.
let that sink in.
I'm not sure how much tech support you're able to get at your location, but especially if you have an older computer you'll want to see if you can get a newer replacement. Without being able to troubleshoot I can't offer much help though.
My cursor has been freezing and dragging itself across the screen (ever since I got a replacement laptop). A Previous poster said it means they are monitoring your screen when that happens. More recently, my screen will suddenly flash black for a few seconds. I keep thinking they’re shutting off my access and about to lay me off
Our computers don't want to work just as much as we don't
My monitor? Nahhh... My 7 generation old dual core laptop with less ram than a cell phone? Yeah that things a pile.
OMG - a monitor itself does not freeze up. Let us show some computer saavy here. If anything freeze or goes slow, it is the COMPUTER ITSELF. I have spent 20 plus years in this industry and this is about the best d-mb comment in history.
