Given all the threads asking for changes in leadership, I thought I’d take a moment to share my confidence in CG moving into the new SIBG Group President role.
In many direct and indirect situations I’ve found CG to be a very thoughtful and strategic leader.
He’s a round table guy, the kind of leader that eats last. Down to earth, communicates directly, challenges the status quo, and consistent with priorities.
I’m not saying we’re out of the woods, but his move to that role is the reason that I’ll stay with 3M for awhile longer.
(IMO I’d prefer to see someone other than MV replace MR. I think MR is responsible for more immediate issues then people realize…)
