Thread regarding CDW layoffs

Will CDW survive?

I've heard different forecasts:

  1. CDW will do better than other tech companies
  2. CDW will suffer headwinds this year.

Is this just a blip on the radar screen, and will CDW return to the "no layoffs" company it used to be?

Or is this a sign of things to come - regular layoffs and cost-cutting?

Just commenting that Harvard Business Review did a study awhile back about unnecessary levels of management were a 3 Trillion dollar drain on the economy...."redeploy them into value-creating activities. If these individuals were contributing an average of $141,000 each to economic output each year, rather than adding nothing, U.S. GDP could grow by $3 trillion — and the actual figure would likely be higher."

God I hope so. Some are so awful . Been there way too long . Act so untouchable and disparaging to their subordinates.

Middle managers will probably be the next target because they have built up large fiefdoms without adding value. Managers managing managers, managing managers, managing managers, managing the people who do the work.
