Not entirely BBB's issue here however it does shed some more light on just how many companies/vendors/misc. they have not been paying and owe money to. They can't pay this company 42 grand?

They can't pay a $150 paycheck to cashiers, either. reddit posting that coupons still being used as of Thursday as BBBY can't find the IT guy. Apparently they are letting said unpaid cashiers deal with it.
By law, that is up to the bankruptcy court judge to sort out now, and that won't happen till after the liquidations. As they say, "take a number".
