Pallets in steel

Is it just our region or is it every club you can not double stack on the top steel , there fo-e you have no where to put anything . We are totally full no open spaces and trucks backed up around the block, but heaven for bid you double stack a pallet in the top steel. And there answer is stock. One we stock everyday what we can and two you have to have the staff to do that. Which we don’t. But you can bet your sweet bu-t we have staff to fold cloths and take pictures to send to the higher ups.
When are you people gonna wake up and fix the issue, hire people and fix those crazy block schedules that are not working. People every staffing need is different for every club.
Home office get out in every region Yourself and take a look at what you are doing to the company, please don’t listen to what the region people are telling you .

They don't want double stacking cause their afraid of what some of the newer drivers might stack on..like heavy on light ...just because its stacked a certain way in the truck or on the dock doesn't mean it should go up in top steel that way.just an example coffee on top of glass bottles . New drivers are clueless or just don't give a cr-p...

twoballcompoundthegreat , you ask why the company has no interest in controlling the amount of freight being sent to clubs. the reason is that the buyers are taking money/gifts from vendors for overbuying.
the more they buy, the more freebies they get. the dc & club associates get stuck having to deal with it while they get benefits.

Every club could stack in the top steel but in all those clubs that don't there is one or more of several reasons why they don't. 1 Their GM is a gutless wonder afraid to do the right thing for the club or the associates. 2. All the other managers are the same. 3. The GM or the others are spending so much time being bottoms rear up pleasing their boss they would not dare do anything against HO. 4. Some of the managers would let them stock in the top steal but their is a snitch in the bunch that will run to HO and report any colleague doing the right thing. 5 ( this is likely true in many clubs across all their managers) The managers like seeing the associates suffer. The managers perceive themselves as the ones truly suffering so they get a kick out of seeing you suffer too. 6 all the previous 5 applied to the team leaders. Very very few people have the mettle to stand up for what's right. Like the guards at the concentration camps they participate in the cruelty because " its their job". As our country spirals into the cesspool things are going to get worse and worse.

Our club is the ONLY one I've personally seen where we are NOT double-stacked anywhere (OK maybe 3 spots) in the top steel and we have been for going on a year. Problem is, there's easily over a hundred pallets of hardlines and seasonal stuff taking up space in grocery NOT including patio furniture. And, to top it all off, 6 full trailers outside and over two trailers worth of hardlines, center section, and seasonal freight, stacked up three and four high, on the dock...all the godda-n fu----g time.

So tell me why the fu-k this godda-n company seemingly has no fu----g interest in CONTROLLING the amount of fu----g freight that comes into the fu----g stores.

Thanks, Bentonville. You're all a bunch of fu----g re--rds.

We double stack in the top steel. No way we could survive without it. Southern Illinois.
