If you were let go last year and you are under 65 you can get your Delta Dental Premiums refunded with your Pre-HRA dollars. Not sure what you do if you are over 65.
Call Via Benefits and set up your account.
Sign up and Log onto Delta Dental Michigan site and make a screen shot of your ID card.
Go to My Ford Benefits and get detailed payment history.. that shows what Dental premiums you paid.. take a screen shot.
Submit to Via Benefits.. It will be under Delta Dental.. Not Delta Dental Cobra..
After Jun1 you will have to do this every moth to get payment for Cobra Health Care and Dental. Unless somebody shows you real numbers...it will be hard to beat the BSBSM Cobra coverage and out of pocket costs for the next 9 months.
Don't get frustrated if it does not work the first time.. call Via Benefits for help and ask them exactly what is needed while you are on the Ford Payments History page.
In my case I got the Family $33/month back since Oct 1.. Still working on the Sep1 payment that was all combined in a Nov1 mess that I can get a detailed accounting for.
I tried to call NESC but now I just send them messages and get a ticket created with detailed requests for information.
You also qualify for unemployment of $362/week for 20 weeks..
