Second round of CPM in AXG has started. Two that I know got notified today.
@1lov - Wrong. 50% cut starting this quarter. You're just not in the know.
No layoffs in AXG. Only cost cutting. Ignore fake news.
@1cch+1moX0S4n , the green shoots he was talking about were from his next crop of pot plants. In California he can grow his own and it must be incredible stuff based on the decisions he makes.
Good bye FM6 and FM7
Pat says he is seeing 'green shoots', that means we are out of the woods and everything is going to work out.
Soon those unprofitable businesses will regain share, increase revenue and profits and take out the competition.
It's all humming quite nicely, can you feel it?
How can you stay upbeat when you see that all business lines inside intel are losing money except for client PCs and mobileye?
Asking for a friend.
Oh yes, keeping the layoffs quiet is brilliant. Who needs transparency. First, you keep the employees guessing so their spirit is crushed and they live in fear. Next, Wall Street knows that Intel should be cutting a high % of the workforce to improve the financials, but they don't cut enough. This sets Intel up for future big quarter GAAP earnings losses and large disappointments and downgrades.
All in all, I'd say Intel is right on pace to capitulate on the IFS 'moonshot' strategy by end of Q2 next year. I give the strategy an A and the execution A. Keep up the good work.
Just don't cut back on my Netflix streaming and free fruit/drinks.
@bfu+1moX0S4n, sounds right.
The Nellies having mini strokes every day.
More fake news from the disgruntled troll
No official layoffs but BUs have been given harsher cost cutting targets. Of course one option is to cut headcount.
Definitely trying to make it look like it's not ELTs direct doing
