It appears 2022 model year had hybrid options available at SE and SEL trims levels, in addition to plug-in hybrid options at SE and SEL levels.
2023 model year has one hybrid (plug-in) at top price option.
Is Ford shooting itself in the foot taking away SE and SEL lower priced hybrid options?
Or is this just part of the transformation to all electric.
I rented a Toyota Sienna Hybrid minivan on vacation and it was wonderful. Seating for 9 and 35mpg. Ford fuzzy math will never get there.
Ford took away the Edge for electric: https://www.motorbiscuit.com/ford-escape-really-being-discontinued/ Why shouldn't they take away the Escape too? I have a hybrid Fusion that is a great car, fabulous mpg without range anxiety. Remember cars?
Ford is definitely shooting itself in the foot with all these one-sided management decisions on EV's. EV's are in their infancy, and the American consumers are in for a rude awakening very soon!
