Record Loss: Let’s rack up A/C & electricity bills

After it’s first annual loss in 100 years, let’s act like sears & kodak and not adopt to 21st century technologies.

Let’s bring everyone back into the office and bring strain onto resources (cleaning, A/C, security, water, electricity)

Wayne did not WFH at all during Covid. He wants the culture of the old days back, but is adamantly ignoring the new realities of the world we are in now. With the downturn in the economy, there have been tons of layoffs across the industry; people do not currently have anywhere they can go if they don't like it here. That has to be a driver in part for this decision, and the timing of it. Maybe that's the idea, but it seems very short sighted. Once the economy improves, people will leave in droves.

In the military we had a “fraud waste and abuse” program to report this sort of stuff (big and small) instead of laying off people and it’d be nice to clean up the inefficiencies and actually conduct a study on W@H and in-office costs.

Not that it is a big cost, but the self service check out machine in commerce spits out three receipts a d by the time i buy my coffee at around 9:30 am, the garbage can is full of receipts. I know receipt rolls are not that expensive, but they must go through two rolls a day. What a luxury!!!! Lol

A/C and electric bills are nothing compared to the money they pay out in hush money or go away quietly payouts to execs.

It’s not about location (office or home). It’s about inflicting pain on employees so they would quit and mgmt doesn’t have to pay severance. That is why they don’t care that it is illogical.
