This is the way to run a company, employees should not be tossed out to make the bottom line look better and use the cost savings for stock buybacks to inflate the stock price. Shame on you!

So contractors are treated like contractors? Shocking
It is a words game. Apple hires many contractors. When contracts are not renewed it technically is not considered a layoff.
Easily said when you’re flush with cash and sell all ridiculously high margin tech products.
The financial positions and business models of the 2 companies are very different
