I work in a department where almost all of our managers have left this week to pursue other roles. Is this ominous?

@4inr+1mtLDjMY- feeling entitled a bit? You are correct it became the biggest but it’s built on quick sand - M&A. Have you heard ostrich keep their head in the sand and that’s how they feel safe?? Take a selfie lol
UHG is the biggest player in the healthcare space. I think you got let go from UHG because you have no sense. Nobody is going to "purchase us"
I worked UHG 18 years in behavioral health. Now at Anthem called Elevance. Don’t be surprised if Y’all get purchased as a whole. The whole industry is streamlining and offshoring a ton and eventually going to AI. Y’all have been notified and it was less than 6 months ago 300 member services employees at Another company Molinas health got laid off due to AI taking over. AI of course being artificial intelligence. Work smart not hard. And working for Anthem/Elevance is better pay and better environment though far from perfect just be smart and start applying over with us because chances are you have a colleague who works with us already and that gets your foot in the door. Don’t stay with UHG as a sinking ship
Middle managers leaving because this stack rating cr-p falls on them to determine and it is a grossly unfair methodology. It wears managers out.
Dang I wish my manager would leave. Our team would work better together if the manager that knows nothing would leave. Our team is divided because of the manager. Friends over hard working people that's my manager.
Personally, I think it says something about the higher leadership when the middle management is leaving in droves. Usually it means they’re not being heard.
Ref: "Managers leaving for their for their own reason". When is it your turn? lol
My team went from 4 managers to 1 this past.
Wow! You are lucky! I wish MJ and JS would leave!!
Same here - all the good tech leaders leaving for better cultures
Yes and you should be afraid and look for all the reasons to be nervous so you ki-l your happiness in the process. NO, gosh, it means they are leaving for their own reasons.
Most are in clinical roles and leaving company completely.
What role? Behavioral health?
